Tennis instruction in the US runs from a certified teaching pro giving private lessons on a park court to full academies with fitness staff, boarding and tournament travel. Private lessons are priced per hour, semi-private and group clinics cost less per player, and most clubs run junior programs after school and adult drills in the evening. The USTA organizes the national rating (NTRP) and the adult and junior leagues most players join; the USPTA and PTR certify coaches. Summer camps take kids by the week or the day and usually include lunch and match play. Stadiums and event venues host college matches, USTA sanctioned tournaments and the occasional exhibition, with free or low-cost admission for most of them.

I have been going to PR Tennis for a year now and I'm so happy I found this place. After my move to the area I had hard time finding a place near me that will not cost you an arm and a leg, but also find AMAZING coaches (shout out to Joel and Oksana) and great Tennis community. It's a place where I can leave my house for a bit, have FUN but also kick some ass 😉, improve my technique with support of my instructors, and meet new people. So if you are looking for a place where you can learn or improve your game all while being in a great and supportive environment then PR Tennis is the place for you. They r my 2nd family.🙂

I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the Park Ridge Tennis Academy for a while now, and I can’t recommend it enough! They truly embody the spirit of tennis as a lifelong sport. The entire team creates an incredibly welcoming and supportive environment for players of all ages and skill levels. Coach Joel is an absolute gem! His teaching style is both motivating and patient, making it easy for me to improve my game while having fun. He has the ability to break down techniques in ways that are easy to understand and apply. I’ve seen tremendous progress in my own game and feel more confident on the court than ever. The community at Park Ridge Tennis (Liliana and Coach Oksana) is fantastic, and I always look forward to lessons and practices. If you're looking for a place to start your tennis journey or take it to the next level, this is the place to be!

I have been taking group lessons here since September 2020 and it's been outstanding. When I joined, I had never even picked up a racket or played tennis, except during high school phys ed, so I was initially very nervous and intimidated. Now, 3 years later, I can't recommend this place enough. The instructors have helped me learn form, technique and skill. Being an indoor facility (there are 4 courts), it is great to be able to play year-round. Oksana, the head pro, and Liliana, the owner, are both extremely accommodating. I've had a lot of fun and my game has improved tremendously.

With my busy schedule I put off picking up tennis again but here if you need to miss a class, make ups are no problem. Oksana, who oversees the classes, makes it so easy and fun. She has such great energy. I’ve improved so much and have had a great time meeting and playing with new people. No need to go to a big country club when this fits my needs perfectly.

I highly recommend Park Ridge Tennis Academy! The coaches are very professional and have helped me become a much better player. Coach Oksana and Greg always bring a good laugh to the trainings. The facility is spotless and the staff is always responsive. I look forward to my weekly sessions as a time to have fun and definitely get a workout in.
